Welcome to the home of Calverley Players, an amateur theatre group based just outside of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Whilst we generally perform in the Calverley Mechanics’ Institute, we’ve been going for such a long time we’ve been all around the local area, from Bingley to the Wharfedale Arts Festival!

Since 1946 we have entertained and engaged with the local community through theatre, performance and local events. Calverley is an active theatre group with an open, friendly attitude. We are always on the lookout for actors, directors, front of house and backstage help.
