Back in March 2016 Calverley Players presented ‘Duets’, a comedy in four parts, each telling the story of two characters and their relationship. “A great evening’s entertainment” and “Brilliant show…enjoyed every minute”…just some of the lovely feedback from our audience.
‘LILIES ON THE LAND’ BY NICK HERN
Based on 150 letters and interviews with original Land Girls, Lilies of the Land was our first experiment with in-the-round theatre in the Mechanics Institute! The play was incredibly well received and we were thrilled to welcome 3 new members who took part in this wonderful production.
